What customers say?

“ Cute coffee shop, located on the top of a hill in Oppama, providing a nice view of the city below. Not only great coffee, but also delicious lunch options. Super cute and cozy interior that is very welcoming and inviting. Only downside is, very steep and narrow roads to get to the cafe. ”

“ Really amazing spot if you make the hike up, worth it! Really good coffee beans to buy. Also check out their coffee roastery in Chinatown, Yokohama ”

- Evan Jones -

“ Favourite coffee place in the area hands down. The location itself screams “hidden gem”! You have to hike up a steep hill to get there (would not recommend driving. Just park at one of the coin parking places and hike up). View of mt. Fuji from the top of the hill isn’t bad either when the weather is nice. Excellent coffee, amazing atmosphere, great dessert..what more could you ask for? Also bought some ground beans to enjoy at home. Will definitely be going back :) ”

“ If you're looking for delicious coffee with a spectacular view, I've discovered a truly amazing cafe! Kanagawa #1 on my list of favorite cafes! The relaxing atmosphere, stylish interior, and excellent coffee Amazing view Nothing to complain about! The view on the way to the cafe is amazing!^o^ On a clear day, you can even see Mt. Fuji !‼ 20-minute walk from Keikyu Oppama Station One-meter taxi ride OK to come by car A treat for those who love steep hills! From Keikyu Oppama Station, drive toward Oppama Stadium for a few minutes. Turn right at the LOWSON and BOOKOFF. Head to the top of the mountain. → Climb the steep, steep slopes and sharp curves, then continue up, into the forest of the third tower. It's 956m from Oppama Station. ”

“ This is great cafe!!! Awesome!! Great place located the top of a hill so you can see great view from here!! They renovated Japanese traditional style housing for cafe here!! So the cafe house itself looks awesome!! I felt I was here to come in a friends house!! Awesome!! You can enjoy great Japanese style gate and facades of it here at first!! And the inside is far awesome!! The floor is tatami so you have to put off your shoes!! There are nice tables and sofas you can choose nice seats as you like!! You would feel slow and great time!! They have great menu not only foods but also drinks! Especially they gave great specialty coffees!! They gave some ways to drip coffee here!! Of course alcohol menu is awesome!! The foods are nice too!! I highly recommend you try pizzas here!! Basically I love Napoli pizza so I’m picky for picky for pizza. I live the pizza here! They use brick oven to cook pizza here so everything is perfect here hot pizza!! Besides it they gave various great plates of course great desserts menus too!! You can enjoy these great foods here and I’m sure your stomach must be satisfied!!! The staffs are very kind and friendly! You can buy coffee beans which they served for you!! Unfortunately you can’t pay with credit cards, only cash and Paypay ( this is one if electric payment method in Japan.). Just a little bit confused and need time to get up to come here! If you don’t use your car, you need to walk up a slope up to here. It may be a burden for you. But don’t worry great cafe waiting for you is there soon!! Enjoy!! 100% great cafe!! ”

“ Beautiful little cafe at the top of a hill, lovely atmosphere, great coffee, great food and had a lovely conversation with the staff. Can't wait to go again ”

“ Atop a Yokosuka mountain lies Tsukikoya. Expect different--much different, especially in regards to the environment and aura, not so much coffee--when you come (which you should do). Unfortunately, when I went they were busy, so service was a bit slow. Moreover, having expected more of a "coffee shop" aura, not to say I was displeased with the beautiful Japanese house within which Tsukikoya operates, I was faced with what manifests itself as predominantly restaurant-centered. It does not seem to be the kind of place to merely sip a hot beverage, but more so, a place to sip a hot beverage subsequent to having dined (the latter for which I did not do). This notwithstanding, there should be an actual, trained barista to satiate your coffee cravings; nevertheless, if you've come merely for a delicious cup of coffee--certainly which you can obtain--expect a mild, yet polite, hesitance from the staff upon your arrival, especially if they are busy. In my case, they did sit me, despite my having acknowledged my "coffee only" disposition. Again, I recommend you go. ”
